In the case of Kirton Lindsey it is possible to confirm that those named were Wesleyan Methodists by reference to the Wesleyan Methodist Historical Roll. W.J. Eato and the two Hunts (and their families) all contributed to the fund in 1901, as can be seen here:

Ordinary Seaman Richard Parr is recorded as having died aged 33 on 14 November 1914, whilst serving on H.M.S. Victory
