The Wesleyan chapel in Prudhoe, St. John’s, lost only one man

Pte Joseph Foster 63743 9th Bn. King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry who died on 23 October 1918

There are no other known memorials to the Wesleyans who served in the war. By contrast, the United Methodist Chapel in the village lost seven out of a total of twenty-eight who served.
